Rental Policies

Harrison Water Sports Inc. reserves the right to cancel or refuse rental to any individual or group who we feel apprehensive in releasing control of our equipment. Safety is our first concern and how our products will be safely operated. In a case of refusal, your full reservation deposit will be refunded and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Alcohol: No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be consumed or carried on the Personal Water Crafts or Power Boats.

Smoking: No smoking allowed on Power Boats.

Pets: No pets allowed in Power Boats.

Reservations: Will be confirmed upon availability of requested dates and receipt of a credit card deposit on all water vessels. All reservations are required to be present up to one hour prior to their scheduled departure time to complete the rental agreement forms, orientation, and proof of competency of the water vessel. Harrison Watersports reserves the right to cancel any reservation based on the reservation arriving later than one hour prior to their departure time. All renters must be 21 years of age and present valid driver’s license to rent and operate Ski Boats, and 16 years of age and present a valid drivers license to rent and operate Sea-Doo’s. Parent or Guardian signatures are required for anyone under the age of 19 years who is a passenger or operator of the water craft.

Rental Fee and Security Deposit: Both the rental fee and the deposit must be paid for in advance in full by, Cash, Visa, MasterCard before the boat leaves the dock. A $2500.00 security deposit is required on all Ski Boats prior to departure. A $700.00 security deposit is required on all Sea-Doo’s prior to departure. This applies to any outstanding charges in damages or lost inventory, late returns, excessively unclean boats, or damages resulting from operation of the boat by the rental group. Since the deposit is a down payment only on damage to the water vessel or equipment loss, we rent to financially responsible adults only.

Cancellation: The credit card reservation deposit is refundable less $25.00 booking fee up to 3 days prior to departure. In the event the cancellation is less than 3 days the full rental deposit will be refunded less $25.00 if the boat is rented. No refunds will be made due to poor weather or if the boat is brought back ahead of schedule, but rebooking is available based on availability.

Operation of Vessel: All customers who wish to be in control of the water vessel must hold a valid drivers license and complete the water vessel orientation (proof of competency) prior to taking control of the water vessel. All operators must comply with the Canadian Coast Guard Rules and Regulations on the water or be subjected to criminal charges and fines. All passengers will be required to sign a waiver release of liability and indemnification agreement prior to boarding the vessel.
